Boebert’s son hit with five felonies tied to underage exploitation
Tyler Boebert, 21, Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son, faces five new felony counts, including sexual exploitation of a child with enticement and possession/distribution of child sexual abuse material, related to alleged 2024 incidents. He’s out on bond and due in Garfield County court on Aug. 19. The case stems from a Safe2Tell report about a newly created Instagram account containing videos/images of teens aged 14–18, including a video of Boebert with a girl who was 17 at the time. Boebert has prior legal issues, including a 2025 misdemeanor child abuse citation and a 2024 arrest linked to identity theft with a deferred sentence. Boebert is running for reelection in Colorado’s 4th District and has said she loves her son and takes the allegations seriously.
