"Border Showdown: Biden and Trump Face Off in Surprise Visits"
TL;DR
Texas residents near the U.S.-Mexico border are criticizing Donald Trump's upcoming visit to Eagle Pass, calling him a "traitor" and claiming the town has nothing to gain from his presence. They also question whether Trump will engage with the community or use the visit as a political stunt. The visit comes as Texas Governor Greg Abbott has touted efforts to combat illegal immigration in the area, including the construction of a military base camp for National Guard soldiers. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is set to visit Brownsville on the same day to meet with border officials.
