"California Primary Controversy: Katie Porter's Concession Speech and Senate Election Upsets"
TL;DR
Progressive Democrat Katie Porter claims the California Senate primary was "rigged" after losing to centrist Democrat Adam Schiff, blaming billionaires for spending millions on attack ads against her. The race, to fill the seat left vacant by Dianne Feinstein, became the most expensive in the state's history, with Schiff outspending other candidates. Porter vows to continue fighting against special interests and for government accountability.
