Chamber of Commerce launches 20-state tour to sell free enterprise in tight elections

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce kicks off the Free Enterprise Express, a 20-state bus tour designed to persuade voters to back free-market policies and oppose socialism, backing more than 30 candidates in competitive House and Senate races. While most favored candidates are Republicans, the Chamber also includes a few Democrats, such as Rep. Tom Suozzi, and argues that capitalism is the best path to opportunity amid rising socialist sentiment and a growing Democratic Socialist presence in politics.
