Chris Christie's Presidential Ambitions and Views on Trump and Clinton.

During a town hall in New Hampshire, Chris Christie, former governor of New Jersey and potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate, expressed disgust at the idea of renominating Donald Trump after he "undermined our democracy" by lying about the 2020 election and inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. However, when asked if Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice for democracy in 2016, Christie could not bring himself to say yes, revealing the dilemma for anti-Trump candidates who endorsed him in the past. Christie is making the political calculation that acknowledging Clinton would have been a better president would be dead in any GOP primary.
