Controversy Surrounds Matt Gaetz Amid Ethics Report and Testimonies
TL;DR
Marjorie Taylor Greene has issued a challenge to her Republican colleagues, demanding full disclosure of sexual misconduct reports against them, in defense of Matt Gaetz, Trump's nominee for attorney general. Gaetz's nomination is under threat due to a damaging ethics report and past allegations of sexual misconduct, including with a minor. Greene's intervention highlights divisions within the Republican Party, as some members openly oppose Gaetz's nomination, fearing it could turn into a media spectacle.
