"Dean Phillips Ends Long-Shot Bid to Challenge Biden in Democratic Primary"
TL;DR
Rep. Dean Phillips, who ran a longshot bid against President Biden in the Democratic presidential primary, has suspended his campaign and endorsed Biden. Phillips had campaigned particularly hard in New Hampshire, where Biden was not on the primary ballot, but Biden won as a write-in candidate. Phillips, a U.S. Representative from Minnesota, set Super Tuesday as his deadline to establish a viable campaign and ultimately endorsed Biden after a distant third place finish in South Carolina.
