DHS voter-fraud sweep yields only a handful of noncitizen cases

Nine states targeted in a DHS drive to purge voter rolls have produced only a small number of possible noncitizen cases, with subpoenas issued for roughly two dozen individuals (about 13 in Georgia, 2 in Washington, and ~15 in Wisconsin). DHS says the push is to root out fraud, but officials and watchdogs say the findings fall far short of the tens of thousands of noncitizen voting claims, noting many subpoenas yield limited or publicly available data and that some lists generate false positives that could chill eligible voters.
