DOJ requests delay of Trump deposition in Strzok lawsuit.

The Justice Department has requested a federal judge to delay the deposition of former President Donald Trump in a lawsuit from ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok, who sued over his 2018 termination. The DOJ argued that FBI Director Christopher Wray should be deposed first, before Trump, as his testimony could obviate the need for any deposition for former President Trump. Strzok sued the Justice Department alleging he was terminated improperly, but the government has previously argued that Strzok hadn’t proven Trump played a role in his dismissal.
