Twitter has restricted access to some content in Turkey ahead of the country's presidential election, complying with government requests for censorship. Accounts of political opponents have been censored, while a troll account known for impersonating a whistleblower was not removed from Twitter. Elon Musk's SpaceX assisted the Turkish government in launching a satellite last month. Musk's Twitter has complied with more than 80% of government requests for censorship or surveillance of users since his takeover last year.
