Elon Musk's Growing Political Influence in Trump's Circle
TL;DR
Elon Musk, a significant donor and influential figure in President-elect Trump's circle, is clashing with Boris Epshteyn, a top Trump adviser, over Cabinet appointments. The tension, highlighted by a public argument at Mar-a-Lago, stems from Musk's growing influence and his push for different Cabinet picks, which contrasts with Epshteyn's preferences. This rivalry reflects broader tensions within Trump's transition team, as Musk's involvement is both welcomed and resented by various members of Trump's inner circle.
