Ex-wife’s lawyer seeks restraining order against Ohio Rep. Miller over alleged grab of attorneys

A lawyer for Rep. Max Miller’s ex-wife asked a judge to issue a restraining order against the congressman, alleging he grabbed Miller’s ex-wife’s attorney and another attorney’s bag outside an Ohio courtroom after a hearing in their ongoing custody case. The filing says this was the second time Miller accosted his ex-wife’s lawyers, following a May incident in which he allegedly made a crude remark about the fiancé of one of them. Miller’s team did not comment. The development comes amid a fractious custody dispute, prior abuse allegations by the ex-wife, and renewed calls for an ethics probe as Miller pursues reelection in a historically GOP district.
