Franklin Aldermen Clash with Mayoral Candidate over Neo-Nazi Support

Multiple aldermen in Franklin, Tennessee are calling for the censure of mayoral candidate and Alderman Gabrielle Hanson, citing her involvement in controversies such as making unfounded claims about a school shooting and being accompanied by individuals identified as white nationalists. Some of her colleagues expressed embarrassment and stated that they would censure her if city rules allowed it. Former Franklin Mayor John Schroer criticized Hanson's campaign, while Hanson responded defiantly, stating that her actions were a result of the seeds she had sown. The mayoral election is scheduled for October 24th.
