Jim Jordan challenges DOJ's credibility and authority in Trump probe.
Rep. Jim Jordan criticized the "double standard" in how the DOJ is handling investigations into Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden's alleged mishandling of classified information compared to the special counsel investigation into former President Donald Trump's alleged mishandling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. Jordan also questioned the DOJ's credibility as it nears a historic indictment of Trump. He pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland for more information on special counsel Jack Smith's investigation and criticized Smith's involvement in the Lois Lerner IRS scandal. Despite all of this, Jordan predicted that Trump would win the GOP nomination and the general election.
