Key Republican Figures Endorse Trump for President.
TL;DR
Montana Senator Steve Daines, who is also the head of the Senate GOP's campaign arm, has endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election. Daines praised Trump's achievements during his presidency, including the passing of the greatest tax cut in American history and the transformation of the courts. As head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Daines has access to a vast network of wealthy Republican donors, which could help boost Trump's fundraising. The GOP needs a net gain of one or two seats to retake the Senate in 2024, and Daines' endorsement could help with candidate recruitment and vetting.
