Legal battles continue for Trump and his allies.

Former President Trump's lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, said that Trump's prediction of being arrested last Tuesday was not made up, but rather a reaction to leaks coming out of the Manhattan District Attorney's office. The DA has been investigating a hush money payment allegedly made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, and reports suggest that an indictment in the case could be imminent. Trump would be the first sitting or former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges if indicted. House Republicans have launched an investigation into the DA's office's probe, and several of Trump's social media posts attacked the DA.
