Liz Cheney Reveals Pressure to Lie in GOP Commencement Speech.

In a commencement speech at Colorado College, former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney criticized her former GOP colleagues for wanting her to lie about the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Cheney urged graduates to engage in politics and not to waver from the truth. She warned of efforts by some political operatives to suppress votes in upcoming elections and urged the graduates, particularly women, to consider running for office. Cheney has been unrelenting in her criticism of former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party since her departure from Congress.
