Marjorie Taylor Greene's Controversial Moments in Congress

During a congressional hearing on "left-wing organized violence," Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene mispronounced the name of a witness and attacked her for smirking while discussing abortion. The witness fired back by highlighting the real threat of white supremacist violence against Black, Hispanic, Jewish, and Muslim people. Greene also attacked trans people and downplayed the threat of white supremacist violence, despite speaking at a white nationalist event last year. The witness later called her dealings with Greene and other extremist lawmakers "appalling."
