McCarthy's Debt Ceiling Victory: What's Next for Republicans?

The House remains in recess as Speaker Kevin McCarthy and hard-line conservatives continue their standoff over McCarthy's handling of the debt ceiling deal. Several members of the House Freedom Caucus joined Democrats in voting down a rule to take up legislation to prohibit the federal government from banning gas stoves.
