McCarthy's Expletive-Laden Call with Trump Revealed
TL;DR
Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy reportedly cursed out former President Trump after Trump refused to support him following his removal as Speaker in October. McCarthy had previously stood by Trump, even visiting him in Florida after the 2020 election loss, but faced criticism for his support following the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Trump did not endorse McCarthy when he was ousted, instead endorsing Rep. Jim Jordan. McCarthy plans to endorse Trump for the 2024 presidential race.
