McConnell set to return to Senate after concussion treatment.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell will return to the Capitol on Monday after being absent for more than five weeks due to a concussion he suffered at a private dinner in early March. McConnell, who is 81, was discharged from the hospital on March 13 and continued to recover at an inpatient rehabilitation facility until he was sent home on March 25. During his absence, Senate Republican Whip John Thune stood in for McConnell and coordinated closely with him. McConnell will return to the Senate when it convenes on Monday to tackle important business and big fights for Kentuckians and the American people.
