McMaster opens removal process for Charleston County School Board member amid IG probe

Governor Henry McMaster has begun a process to remove Charleston County School Board member Darlene Roberson. An executive order filed Sept. 1 gives Roberson until Sept. 14 to submit a written response to charges including misconduct and conflicts of interest connected to her consulting work and a vendor linked to her former campaign manager.
