Michigan Voters Divided on Potential Biden-Trump Rematch in 2024

A recent WDIV/Detroit News poll of Michigan voters shows that former President Donald Trump holds a slight lead over incumbent President Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential election, with both candidates receiving low favorability ratings. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is viewed more favorably than both frontrunners, with 60.5% of voters approving of her job performance. Additionally, when pitted against Trump in a hypothetical presidential race, 49.4% of Michigan voters said they would vote for Whitmer. The survey also revealed that third-party candidates received minimal support, and a significant portion of voters expressed dissatisfaction with the current presidential candidates.
