NC GOP Censures Sen. Tillis for Departing from Party Platform on Various Issues

North Carolina Republican Party delegates voted to censure Senator Thom Tillis at the party's annual convention, citing his support for LGBTQ+ rights and immigration reform. Tillis has a history of working with moderates on both sides of the aisle on a wide range of issues, including pushing a bill to codify same-sex and interracial marriage.
