"Nikki Haley's Clash with Trump Escalates Before New Hampshire Primary"
TL;DR
Donald Trump has resorted to racist name-calling against his political opponent Nikki Haley, referring to her as "Nimbra," a play on her birth name, Nimrata Nikki Randhawa. This tactic of name-calling and racism has been a common strategy for Trump, but studies suggest that it may backfire on the perpetrator. Despite Trump's lead against GOP rivals, recent polling in New Hampshire shows Haley as a favorite among independents. Trump's spokesperson dismissed criticism of the name-calling as "fake outrage," but studies indicate that such tactics may not be as effective as perceived.
