NRA files lawsuit against Washington state's "unconstitutional" gun ban.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) has filed a lawsuit against Washington state's new gun package, which includes a ban on assault weapons, calling it "blatantly unconstitutional." The NRA-ILA filed the suit on behalf of individual plaintiffs and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, targeting the ban on semiautomatic firearms. The suit names Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson and Washington State Patrol Chief John R. Batiste as defendants. The gun package has also been hit with another lawsuit from the Second Amendment Foundation, which argues lawmakers violated the Second Amendment with the ban on semiautomatic firearms.
