Ohio GOP Lawmaker Lies About MIT Degree

Ohio Republican lawmaker, Dave Dobos, falsely claimed to have graduated from MIT, according to the university. Dobos, who attended MIT in the 1970s and 1980s but did not receive a degree, has since resigned from his position as vice chair of the Higher Education Committee. He had previously faced scrutiny for not disclosing over $1 million in outstanding debts while running for office, which he later disclosed to an ethics committee.
