Poll finds Democratic voters motivated by opposing Trump more than policy in a tight House race

A CBS News poll shows Democratic voters are more motivated to vote to stop Trump and the GOP than to advance their own policies (54% vs 46%), while Republicans tilt toward backing Trump (57%); with the House still a razor-thin GOP majority, 54% of likely voters favor the Democratic candidate in their district today. Trump’s endorsement could hurt GOP candidates (48% say it would make them less likely to support).
