"Ron DeSantis: The Height of Controversy and Insecurity"
TL;DR
Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Nikki Haley have criticized Republican rival Ron DeSantis for allegedly wearing high heels to artificially boost his height. Haley, the only woman in the 2024 race, joked about wearing heels to tower over DeSantis at the upcoming GOP debate. Trump's super PAC trolled DeSantis by sending him a pair of Puerto Rican-themed boots with a prominent heel, accusing him of supporting statehood for Puerto Rico. DeSantis denies wearing lifts and insists his boots are standard. However, bootmakers suspect he is wearing lifts due to the way his boots fit and the shorter-than-usual heels.
