Russia Condemns Lindsey Graham's Comments on Ukraine and Russian Deaths

Margarita Simonyan, the head of Russia's main news channel, RT, called for the assassination of US Senator Lindsey Graham after edited comments made by him during his meeting with the President of Ukraine caused outrage in Moscow. Simonyan invoked the name of a Soviet Lieutenant General Pavel Sudoplatov, who was involved in several major intelligence operations, including the assassination of Leon Trotsky. Graham's complete remarks, released by the Ukrainian president's office, did not link the US aid to Ukraine with the comment that Russians are dying in their failing war.
