"Schiff and Porter Clash Over California Senate Primary Rigging Allegations"
TL;DR
Rep. Adam Schiff responds to Rep. Katie Porter's claim that their Senate race was rigged, stating that the term "rigged" connotes fraud and ballot stuffing. Schiff emerged victorious in the Democratic primary, with Porter coming in third. Despite her public complaints, Porter was gracious in conceding to Schiff. The California Senate primary was one of the most expensive of the 2024 cycle, and Schiff is now the frontrunner heading into the general election.
