Settlement Reached: Fake Electors in Wisconsin Acknowledge Biden's Victory

A group of 10 Republicans who acted as "fake electors" in Wisconsin during the 2020 presidential election have settled a civil suit against them by acknowledging that Joe Biden was the winner. The fake electors agreed to issue a statement admitting that their efforts were part of an attempt to improperly overturn the election results and pledged not to act as electors again in any election where Trump is on the ballot. The settlement does not require them to pay any damages. The claims against Trump attorneys Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis are continuing. Criminal charges have been brought against fake electors in three states, including Nevada.
