Tennessee GOP expels Democrats over mass shooting protest.

Two Democratic lawmakers in Tennessee were expelled from the state House by Republican lawmakers over a gun control protest on the House floor after a deadly school shooting in Nashville. The GOP supermajority accused the representatives of breaking house rules on conduct and decorum. The forced expulsion of lawmakers from any state legislative body in the U.S. is extremely rare. President Biden called the expulsion "shocking, undemocratic, and without precedent."
