Texas Gov. sends bus of migrants to LA to challenge sanctuary status.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that a bus full of migrants was sent to Los Angeles as part of a strategy to reduce the number of undocumented people at the border to select sanctuary cities. The busing strategy has resulted in more than 21,600 migrants being transported out of border communities deemed overwhelmed by Texas. Abbott blamed President Biden's refusal to secure the border for the crisis and said that Texas communities along the border are on the frontlines. Earlier, two planes full of people seeking asylum were flown in from Florida to Sacramento, and California Attorney General Rob Bonta made public records requests related to the flights.
