Civil rights organizations, including the ACLU and the Texas Civil Rights Project, have filed a lawsuit challenging a new Texas law that allows police to arrest migrants who cross the border illegally and permits local judges to order them to leave the country. The law, signed by Governor Greg Abbott, is set to take effect in March.
