The Future of George Santos' Campaign After Indictment

Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., has named himself treasurer of his re-election campaign following the departure of his previous treasurer and his recent indictment on federal charges. This makes Santos the fourth treasurer of his campaign and committees since January. House Republicans recently blocked an effort by Democrats to expel Santos in a party-line vote that referred the matter to the House Ethics Committee. Santos has come under fire for allegedly fabricating large parts of his résumé after flipping New York's 3rd Congressional seat last year.
