Trump claims California Dems are trying to 'steal' elections, offers no proof
TL;DR
President Trump posted unsubstantiated claims that California Democrats are trying to 'steal' the gubernatorial and Los Angeles mayoral primaries, alleging misuse of mail-in ballots and delays in tallying. California officials and party leaders dismissed the allegations as baseless, stressing that the state will conduct a fair count. With many mail-in ballots and signature verifications, counting is expected to take days to weeks, with final results due by July 3, 2026.
