Trump Concedes Iran’s Military Largely Untouched Amid Ceasefire Talks
TL;DR
Donald Trump told Fox News, in a interview with Lara Trump, that Iran’s military has been largely left intact by U.S. strikes—contradicting his past boasts that Iran’s armed forces were destroyed. The remarks appear as ceasefire talks drag on, with the U.S. seeking a 60‑day extension amid negotiations over sanctions relief and Iran’s nuclear program, while experts note the comments could reflect a slip or ambiguity about Iran’s IRGC and ongoing war dynamics.
