"Trump Endorses New RNC Leadership Team, Including Lara Trump as Co-Chair"
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump endorses North Carolina GOP Chair Michael Whatley to succeed Ronna McDaniel as the leader of the Republican National Committee and supports Lara Trump as co-chairwoman. Trump also plans to appoint Chris LaCivita as RNC chief operating officer. The changes reflect Trump's push for a restructuring of the RNC and his focus on baseless allegations of election fraud.
