Trump rallies Florida base in The Villages, touts senior tax wins
TL;DR
Trump staged a high-energy rally in The Villages, Florida, courting seniors by promoting tax deductions and lower drug costs while Florida Republicans cheered a map that could add seats for the GOP. The event underscored Trump’s continued appeal to Florida conservatives even as inflation and living costs strain residents, and it featured other GOP figures praising the president ahead of midterms. The Villages atmosphere contrasted with protests nearby and ongoing debates over cost-of-living issues in the state.
