President Joe Biden's campaign criticized former President Donald Trump for not signing an Illinois loyalty oath pledging not to advocate the overthrow of the government, a requirement for candidates in the state. Trump did not sign the oath when registering for the primary ballot in Illinois, despite having done so in 2016 and 2020.
