Trump’s Iran remark on camera contradicts his denial, CNN reports
TL;DR
CNN reports that Trump told reporters he was considering a new Iranian peace proposal, then denied saying last night that the U.S. might be better off not making a deal with Iran. The piece notes that the remark about Iran was actually said on camera during a Friday speech, and puts his denial in the context of a broader pattern of Trump denying remarks he publicly made, citing past examples from 2025, 2024 and 2020.
