This is the second such withdrawal this month, following Michael Delaney's withdrawal as an appellate court nominee. Wamble's withdrawal comes amid concerns that the American Bar Association would rate him "not qualified" for the nomination, and uncertainty over whether Kansas's two GOP senators would waive their veto power over his nomination.
