"Ukraine prepares for counteroffensive in ongoing conflict with Russia"

Ukraine is ready to launch a counter-offensive against Russian forces to retake territory, according to Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine. He did not name a date but said the government had "no right to make a mistake" on the decision because it was an "historic opportunity" that "we cannot lose". Danilov also confirmed that some Wagner mercenary forces were withdrawing from the city of Bakhmut, but added they were "regrouping to another three locations" and "it doesn't mean that they will stop fighting with us".
