Wyoming Abortion Ban Temporarily Halted by Judge.

A judge in Wyoming has granted a temporary restraining order, blocking a new law that would make providing almost all abortions a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. The lawsuit, filed by six plaintiffs, including four health care providers, challenges the constitutionality of the law, which attempts to circumvent the state's constitutional guarantee of freedom in health care choices. The plaintiffs will also challenge another law, scheduled to take effect on July 1, that would make Wyoming the first state to explicitly ban the use of pills for abortion.
