Clashes and Controversy: Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Israel Rallies Disrupt Major US Hubs
TL;DR
Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the evening rush hour in New York City and Washington, D.C., demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and blocking entryways to subways and train stations. Chanting slogans and waving Palestinian flags, the protesters called for an end to U.S. aid to Israel and expressed opposition to a two-state agreement. The demonstrations caused delays and access restrictions in transportation hubs, with police shutting down subway stations and entrances.
