Florida Deputy's Heroic Rescue Attempt Ends in Tragedy.

A Florida deputy, William Hollingsworth, and a stranded driver were both swept away by floodwaters while the deputy was attempting to rescue him. They were submerged for 30 seconds before resurfacing on the other end of the road. The incident was captured on bodycam video and both men were lucky to be alive. The area had been hit by thunderstorms that dumped more than 12 inches of rain overnight, causing flash flooding. Officials warn people to avoid driving into water during flooding, as it can quickly sweep a vehicle away.
