"4/20 Celebrations Light Up Cities Across the US"
TL;DR
Vendors in Washington Square Park, New York, sold cannabis flower, pre-rolled joints, edible THC products, and budding cannabis seedlings to celebrate 4/20. This year's celebration marks a major triumph for the plant's devotees, who for the first time are able to buy weed from some of the city's first licensed dispensaries. Celebrations vary around the world, with some using it as an opportunity to protest laws criminalizing the plant, while others celebrate its existence. Cannabis is now tolerated for recreational use in 38 states.
