Antisemitic incidents reach record high in the US in 2022.

Antisemitic incidents in the US rose 36% in 2022, with 3,697 incidents of harassment, vandalism, and assault targeting Jewish people and communities. The Anti-Defamation League's annual audit found that five states accounted for more than half of the incidents, with New York having the highest number of reported incidents. Schools and synagogues are growing targets, with the number of bomb threats towards Jewish institutions spiking from eight to 91. The Goyim Defense League is behind more than half of all propaganda incidents, while Kanye West is also to blame for dozens of antisemitic attacks. The ADL called on leaders to condemn antisemitic incidents outright and launch a concerted whole-of-government, whole-of-society response that would include blocking antisemitism online.
