Melissa Joan Hart's Heroic Act During Nashville School Shooting

Actress Melissa Joan Hart helped a class of kindergartners escape the Nashville school shooting by crossing a busy highway and reuniting them with their teachers and parents. Hart, who lives in Nashville, said this was her second experience with a school shooting, having previously been near Sandy Hook in Connecticut. The shooting at the private Christian elementary school left six people dead, including three children. Hart called for an end to such tragedies and asked for prayers for the families affected.
